Stereophonics are a Welsh indie rock group, who are one of the biggest and most popular bands in the UK today. They formed in 1992 by original members Kelly Jones, Richard Jones and Stuart Cable.

Stereophonics signed a deal in 1996 and released their debut album to great acclaim, which has seen them go on to sell millions of albums and sell out huge arena tours.

In 2003, Stuart Cable was sacked by Kelly and Richard, to be replaced by Javier Weyley the following year.
