Spiritualized are a psychedelic rock group, who are led by songwriter Jason Pierce. The band formed in 1990, after Pierce's former drone band Spacemen 3 split.

Their debut album, Lazer Guided Melodies, came out in 1992 and have been followed with a succession of outstanding albums. Spiritualized's music is a mix of drone, gospel, blues, punk and rock.
