Mos Def (born Dante Terrell Smith) is a critically acclaimed rapper and actor.
He has many stage names, including: Mighty Mos Def, The Freaky Night Watchman, Boogie Man, Black Dante, Dante Beze, Pretty Flaco, and Flaco Bey.
Mos Def was previously a member of Urban Thermo Dynamics and Black Star, and his debut solo album, Black on Both Sides, was released in 1999.
