Minotaur Shock

Minotaur Shock is the alias of Dave Edwards, a key figure in establishing the "folktronica" scene.

Shock started off releasing 12" singles for the Melodic label, that fused folk, electronica, jazz, hip hop, classical instruments.

After his well-received Chiff Chaffs and Willow Warblers debut album, Minotaur Shock released compilation Rinse. After that he signed to the influential 4AD label for his second album, Maritime.

When not making music as Minotaur Shock, Dave Edwards can be found as the drummer of the band Bronze Age Fox
