Massive Attack
Massive Attack are a trip-hop trio from the UK. They first came into the limelight during 1991 with their acclaimed debut album Blue Lines.
Since then, the three piece have continued to release experimental, broody music with the following albums: Protection (1994), Mezzanine (1998), 100th Window (2003) and a "Best Of" compilation album entitled Collected in 2006.
The music of Massive Attack has often been used to soundtrack films and TV programmes, which to this date have included: Snatch, The West Wing, The Matrix, The Jackal and Stigmata.
They have collaborated with such artists as Tricky, Horace Andy and Elizabeth Fraser of the band Cocteau Twins
