An American indie and punk band from Boston, who formed in 1986 by Evan Dando and Ben Deily. Originally named Whelps, the duo changed their title to Lemonheads in 1987.
Having released several low-key albums on a local label, the band signed a major deal in 1990. It wasn't until 1992 however, that the group become popular due to their hit cover version of Mrs. Robinson.
After frontman Evan Dando pursued a solo career and the band as a whole took a 10 year hiatus, they announced their return in 2006.
