GZA is a founding member of the hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan, known to his family and friends as Gary Grice.
His music credits include appearing on every album by Wu-Tang Clan as well as several of the group's solo offshoot releases.
Since 1991, he has released numerous solo albums with his first effort being the successful and critically acclaimed Words From The Genius.
GZA is also known as Genius and his name is pronounced as "jizza".
