The Flaming Lips are an alternative rock band from the United States that formed in 1983.
They were listed in the "50 bands to see before you die" in 2002 by Q magazine.
They are made up of: Wayne Coyne (vocals, guitars), Michael Ivins (bass, piano), Kliph Scurlock (live drums) and Steven Drozd (vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keyboards & synthesizers).
