Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels (birth name Darryl Lovelace) was one of the members of pioneering hip hop group Run D.M.C.
DMC's career began in 1984, when his group released their debut album, the self-titled 'Run D.M.C.'
In 2006 he released his first solo album, 'Checks Thugs Rock N Roll'.
