Common (previously known as Common Sense) is a Chicago rapper known for his positive and spiritual lyrics. He is an avid supported of the animal rights group PETA.
Originally working under the name Common Sense, his first single, "Take It EZ", was released in 1992, along with an LP entitled "Can I Borrow a Dollar?".
The hip hop artist has grown from strength to strength, and his 2006 album "Be" received four Grammy Awards nominations.
