Alexisonfire

Alexisonfire formed in 2001 and hail from Ontario in Canada.

The band's music is post-hardcore and they take their name from Alexis Fire - who apparently claimed to be "the world's only lactating contortionist stripper".

Using her name almost landed the group in trouble when she threatened to sue them, however Fire never trademarked the name so she couldn't press on with legal action. Afterwards, the band then changed it to Alexisonfire.

Their first album came out in 2002 and since, they have released several acclaimed albums which have seen them gain a Worldwide fanbase.

Alexisonfire are: George Pettit, Chris Steele, Wade MacNeil, Dallas Green and Jordan Hastings.
