Albert Hammond Jr

Albert Hammond Jr is the guitarist in popular indie rock band, The Strokes. He was born in Los Angeles in 1979 and met Julian Casablancas at boarding school.

In 1998, the pair, along with several of Julian's friends went on to form the band and released several acclaimed albums, which has seen them become one of the biggest acts today.

In 2006, Hammond Jr revealed he would be embarking on a solo career, in addition to his role in The Strokes. His first release is the Yours To Keep album.
